Scope Summary

1. Blamey Street Entry

The entry experience to the complex will be enhanced by:

• a new driveway finish

• new waiting seating outside the entrance

• illuminated bollards to improve the safety of the accessible pedestrian ramp from the street to the entry doors 

• new touch free, motorized glass entry door with quieter operation

• new dedicated move-in, move-out gates separating removalists from pedestrians

• an extended roof to cover the walkway to the Skyview tower entry for inclement weather

• renovated garden landscaping 

• a new high quality steel security fence 

• new brighter, lighter wall and ceiling finishes

• height restriction bars at the entry and exit to stop large trucks damaging the awnings 

• improved drainage along the ramp to Skyview

2. Building Entrances

The entrances to Skyview, Horizons and Vista buildings will be refurbished to address the existing problems of heavy, noisy gates and dark entry areas with:

• new motorized glass entry doors and side lights

• touch free door opening, activated with a fob or touch free exit pad

• disability accessible operation

• renovated seating at the Horizons and Skyview entries creating a cohesive aesthetic

3. Gates

To address the noisy operation and continual maintenance problems, two high traffic gates will be replaced with:

• new sturdy gate construction with high quality hardware

• improved accessibility
